What's Included With The RAM Mount GPSMAP 76Cx 76CSx 96C Handlebar Rail Mount? The RAM Mount GPSMAP 76Cx 76CSx 96C Handlebar Rail Mount ships with the following items included:
RAM Mount GPSMAP 76Cx 76CSx 96C Handlebar Rail Mount Description The RAM High Strength Plastic Rail Mount consists of the 1'' dia. ball and socket system with RAM Plastic Cradle for the Garmin GPSMAP 76C and GPSMAP 76CS Series.
BASE DESIGN: The High Strength Plastic Rail Base has a 1.0'' diameter Rubber Ball designed to sit at right angles to the mounting rail. The Rail 'U' Clamp will fit a circular rail with diameter from 1.0''.
For a larger rail, you can purchase the RAM-B-231LSS Large Rail Base for circular rails with diameter from 1/2'' to 1 3/8''.
To mount to a circular rail, simple press the plastic 'U' clamp around the rail and then connect and tighten the small nut and bolt to close the 'U' clamp.
NOTE: Placing a rubber lining (not included) between the tube and the mount for a tube with a diameter less than 1'' will help the base 'grab' the rail.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR MOTORCYCLES USES: This base is not recommended for Motorcycles due to the heavy vibration. An alternative would be the RAM-B-231 and RAM-B-149 Stainless Steel U-Bolts.
ARM DESIGN: The High Strength Plastic Standard Length Double Socket Arm is 3.0'' long when measured between socket centers.
CRADLE DESIGN:
The RAM-HOL-GA14 Garmin GPSMAP 76C and GPSMAP 96 Series RAM Mount Cradle is a High Strength Plastic Composite Cradle designed specifically to hold the Garmin GPSMAP 76C and GPSMAP 96 Series, including the following GPS units,

Garmin GPSMAP 76C
Garmin GPSMAP 76CS
Garmin GPSMAP 96
Garmin GPSMAP 96C
All cables can stay connected to the unit while in the RAM cradle.
The Garmin GPS 72, GPS 76, GPSMAP 76 and GPSMAP 76S WILL NOT fit this cradle. These units require the RAM-HOL-GA6 cradle.
