Mount Cradle Design:
The RAM-HOL-GA14 Garmin GPSMAP 76C and GPSMAP 96 Series RAM Mount Cradle is a High Strength Plastic Composite Cradle designed specifically to hold the Garmin GPSMAP 76C and GPSMAP 96 Series, including the following GPS units,
- Garmin GPSMAP 76Cx
- Garmin GPSMAP 76CSx
- Garmin GPSMAP 76C
- Garmin GPSMAP 76CS
- Garmin GPSMAP 96
- Garmin GPSMAP 96C
All cables can stay connected to the unit while in the RAM cradle.
The Garmin GPS 72, GPS 76, GPSMAP 76 and GPSMAP 76S WILL NOT fit this cradle. These units require the RAM-HOL-GA6 cradle.
Mount Arm Design:
The RAM Mount Dual Socket Arm (RAM-B-201) is a B Size 1 inch Ball Dual Socket Arm, made of Marine Grade Aluminum. The arm is 3 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends.
Mount Base Design:
The RAM-B-309-7 RAM Mount Motorcycle Kit Base can mount to either the clutch/ brake reservoir or directly to a round handle bar rail. The base is constructed of marine grade aluminum with an integrated 1 inch diameter rubber ball, hardware for rail mounting and both standard and metric mounting bolts for motorcycle reservoir mounting. The zinc coated metal u-bolt and nuts included are designed it fit on most motorcycle round handlebars, or any circular rail or pipe with diameter from 1/2 to 1.25 inches.
The base connects to the left or right side of your handlebar clutch/brake reservoir on the Honda Goldwing and other select motorcycles or you can connect directly to your handlebars with the u-bolt hardware. To see if this base will work with your motorcycle, check the hole spacing of the base against your clutch/brake reservoir. The holes centers have a minimum width of 0.94 inches and a maximum of 1.58 inches.
