The RAM-B-174-GA7 Garmin GPSMAP x76, x78 and x96 Series Motorcycle RAM Mount is a Marine Grade Aluminum Mount with a Motorcycle Brake/Clutch Reservoir Base and RAM Custom Plastic Cradle. The mount is designed with a RAM 1 inch diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment point at the cradle and base. With a twist of the arm knob, you can move the Garmin GPSMAP x76, x78 and x96 Series, including the Garmin GPSMAP 176, 176C, 196, 276C, 296, 376C, 378C and 478C, mount to your optimum viewing position.

Garmin GPS Mount Cradle Design:
The RAM-HOL-GA7 High Strength Plastic Cradle is designed to hold the Garmin GPSMAP x76, x78 and Aviation x96 Series of GPS which includes, and is not limited to, the following GPS units,

- Garmin GPSMAP 176C
- Garmin GPSMAP 276C
- Garmin GPSMAP 376C
- Garmin GPSMAP 378
- Garmin GPSMAP 478
- Garmin GPSMAP 196 (Aviation GPS)
- Garmin GPSMAP 296 (Aviation GPS)
- Garmin GPSMAP 396 (Aviation GPS)

All cables can stay connected to the unit while in the RAM cradle.
Garmin GPS Mount Cradle Plate:
 The RAM-B-238 Marine Grade Aluminum Diamond Plate is designed to connected to the back of the mount cradle. The diamond plate has a 1.0 inch diameter rubber ball connected at right angles to the plate, which connects directly to the 1 inch arm socket. The cradle includes the required hardware to connect the plate to the cradle. Garmin GPS Mount Arm Design:
 The RAM-B-201 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Dual Socket Arm is a 1 inch B size Ball Socket Arm with open socket ends. The arm is 3.0 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends. Garmin GPS Mount Base Design:
 The RAM-B-309-7 RAM Mount Motorcycle Kit Base can mount to either the clutch/ brake reservoir or directly to a round handle bar rail. The base is constructed of marine grade aluminum with an integrated 1 inch diameter rubber ball, hardware for rail mounting and both standard and metric mounting bolts for motorcycle reservoir mounting. The zinc coated metal u-bolt and nuts included are designed it fit on most motorcycle round handlebars, or any circular rail or pipe with diameter from 1/2 to 1.25 inches.
The base connects to the left or right side of your handlebar clutch/brake reservoir on the Honda Goldwing and other select motorcycles or you can connect directly to your handlebars with the u-bolt hardware. To see if this base will work with your motorcycle, check the hole spacing of the base against your clutch/brake reservoir. The holes centers have a minimum width of 0.94 inches and a maximum of 1.58 inches.
