TERRIBLE WITH IPAD, OTHERWISE JUST EXPENSIVE
Pros: huge. holds a lot of stuff without the ipad mount Cons: nothing fits with ipad mount, clip hard to open
First let me say that I never write negative reviews. I research the items I buy to attempt to avoid problems, but the Handi-case was too new with no reviews. Having several RAM products which are awesome, I took a chance. The RAM Handi-Case is horrible. I ordered one with the iPad mount thinking it would be the perfect solution for carrying some papers as well as my iPad. Unfortunately, once you mount the iPad on the mount and into the case, you can fit exactly 20 pieces of paper in the case (and then there is a bulge in the case). The case fits the iPad great, but nothing else fits. The worst part is the Handi- Case is intended for things to be mounted *outside* the case, so when you screw in the iPad mount, the screws are on the outside, which would ruin your writing surface if you mounted the iPad to the top of the case, as in the picture. The exposed screw heads scratched the crap out of my laptop. If you're looking to carry your iPad, a pen, and a couple pieces of paper, this will work fine. Otherwise, save your $ and get an inexpensive plastic clipboard from Staples and a better iPad case. One last rant: The clip that holds the Handi-Case together is *impossible* to open. I hope this review saves you guys the money and hassle I wasted. I'm going to try to re-task both the case and the iPad mount.
