Jim Newport, RI May 19, 2012	BOAT CHARTPLOTTER MOUNT Pros: very rugged, reasonable cost The swing mounts is a very rugged mount. Adjustable friction is very helpful. I am using it to mount a Raymarine Chartplotter. The plotter is flush mounted in a cabinet and the are allows it to swing out and be viewable at 90 degress from the front of hte cabinet. I had a custom trunnion fabricated from Stainless steel and bolted it to the flat mount on the swing arm mount. Works great. Recommend? YES 1 viewers found this helpful. John Massachusetts Dec 28, 2009	HEAVY DUTY, BUILT WELL Pros: built well, very heavy duty Cons: large I purchased this for a Huminbird 997 si fishfinder for my bass boat. I selected this model because it did not have a rubber ball and socket system. The ball and socket system, which I have on the face plate to my Sirius radio system have a tendency to move and I figure this would be more secure. I haven't installed yet.
