GOOD FISHFINDER MOUNT
Pros: very sturdy
Cons: does not contain hardware to mount
It is a very secure mount for my Humminbird 798 fishfinder

I LIKE IT.
Pros: rock solid, infinitely adjustable, nice finish
Cons: aluminum will corrode some in salt water environs
For years I've used the smaller ram mounts for g.p.s./f.f. units and liked them for the good holding power and almost infinite number of positions attainable with them. This one is no different i.m.o. except it is even more sturdy, and secure for larger,heavier,more expensive units.
The Humminbird mount fit the unit very well and everything is made of thick heavy duty aluminum and stainless steel with rubber coatings on the balls.
I don't see how it could be any better unless it was all stainless steel. Way to go R.A.M.!

LARGE RAM MOUNT FOR HUMMINBIRD
Pros: excellent way to mount a sonar/gps
Cons: finish not that great on the base
easy to install, works great, took the boat out in choppy water and it didn't move at all. Could have come with nuts and bolts, but then again they have no clue how thick the material is that you are attaching it to. was only $5 extra to go to Lowe's and get stainless steel nuts, bolts, and washers.

PERFECT FIT
Pros: infinately adjustable
Cons: have to go a long way to get nuts and bolts
Just what I wanted to mount a depth finder/gps on a curved console. It would have been even better had it come with nuts and bolts
