AWESOME

This product is great, I use my Ipad in my golf cart for GPS, it is larger and easier to see, This works perfect in the cup holder. I even take to other golf courses and it works in all cup holders I have come across, 3 of my friends have also ordered this after seeing mine. We get a lot of people who think this is one of the best inventions besides sliced bread.

ITEM BROKE BY MOUNT
Pros: hold ipad 2 and allows the elf gps to be used.
Cons: rod not robust enough
The device worked very well for the first month. Then the rod broke where it meets the top plate.
I need to tilt the device to get into the center storage area in the F150 1 or 2 times a day.
Will be contacting soon to see what can be done to repair or replace.
Recommend? NO

NOT BAD
Pros: reasonable price, satble, solid ipad clip
Cons: may have to play with a bit to get adjusted
Tight fit in most cupholders but may loosen a bit after time. I use in a Mini and it works. Very stiff gooseneck that stays put once you get it adjusted. Big unit and not something you would take with you if you travel unless you have lots of room. Rotating from portrait to landscape will most likley involve moving rear bracket mount (2 locations) for stability. Kind of a pain but do-able.

"RAM IN A CAN" IPAD CUP HOLDER MOUNT
Cons: cup holders vary a lot in size, won't work if not
I bought 2 of these. Cup holders vary a lot in size. 06 corvette has a small cup holder and it just barely fits, but holds iPad securely and at a good height. 06 Silverado has a large cup holder and would not hold iPad securely. I had to find a large coffee cup, put mount inside the coffee cup and put coffee cup in the cup holder, still not totally secure, I used a bungie cord to secure coffee cup in cup holder. It now works great, but took a lot of improvising. Very easy to remove iPad from mount and reinstall. iPad in holder is very top heavy if the fit is not very snug it is not secure.

COOL AT FIRST
Pros: fits nicely in most cup holders
Cons: mount flops back and forth
This iPad mount worked great for the first couple of weeks that I had it. Then it starting getting lose in the mount and there is no mechanism to tighten it up. It has basically become unusable because the mount flops left and right and does not remain ridged. I suggest you keep looking for a better mount kit.

GOOD IPAD MOUNT FOR CUP HOLDER
Pros: very stable, high quality, adjust ability
Cons: takes up cup holder, need occasional repositioning
I have been using this mount with my iPad 2 for about a month. I really like this mount. It stays mostly stable and only requires repositioning when I hit "potholes". Nice quality, with "roller clip" (which keeps from wearing out the top of iPad, when removing iPad from mount). The only down side is that it takes up an cup holder. But the stabilty of this mount versus others, makes the sacrifice worth it.

BEST IPAD MOUNT
Boy is this iPad Mount GREAT! I am using it in my SUV and in the golf cart. Very well made. I did a lot of research and this is the best.
