The RAM Marine Grade Aluminum Mount with Stainless Steel U-Bolt Rail Base consists of the 1'' dia. ball and socket system with RAM Expandable Plastic Cradle for the Compaq iPaq 3600, 3700, 3800, 3900, 5100, 5400 and 5500 Series.
BASE DESIGN:
 The RAM-B-231 RAM Mount Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Rail Base has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball designed to sit at right angles to the mounting rail. The Stainless Steel U-Bolt and nuts included are designed it fit on most motorcycle round handlebars, or any circular rail or pipe with diameter from 3/4 to 1.0 inch.
To mount the rail base, place the top of the base on the rail and then slide the u-bolt around the rail, into the holes in the base top. Now tighten the screws onto the u-bolt until the base is clamped firmly. If you desire, you can now slot the black rubber covers over the exposed ends of the u-bolt.
NOTE: This base is completely rust proof.
For Larger Rail Mounting:
For a larger rail, you can purchase the RAM Mount Stainless Steel Large Rail U-Bolt for circular rails with diameter up to 1.25 inches.
ARM DESIGN:
The Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Standard Length Double Socket Arm is 3.0'' long when measured between socket centers.
CRADLE DESIGN:
 The RAM-HOL-CO2 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Cradle with expanding top is designed to hold Compaq iPaq PDA units, including the following,

- Compaq iPaq 3600 Series
- Compaq iPaq 3700 Series
- Compaq iPaq 3800 Series
- Compaq iPaq 3900 Series
- Compaq iPaq 5100 Series

PDA Expansion Packs:
This cradle will hold your PDA if connected to an expansion pack, or left in the original protective cover. |
