James Santa Rosa, CA Mar 23, 2010	PLASTIC VS METAL IPHONE COMPONENTS Pros: both are good quality. great on a golf cart Cons: dislike the look of plastic components My application required aluminum components but this kit is comprised of plastic parts. Plastic finished parts are likely more durable but aluminum parts have a better appearance from my perspective. I individually ordered component parts made of aluminum: RAM-B-238U, RAM-B-201U, RAM-B-121BU and the plastic cradle RAM-HOL-AP6U. Recommend? YES 50 viewers found this helpful.
