The RAP-B-121-AP6 Apple iPhone 3G Series Universal Clamp RAM Mount is a High Strength Plastic Composite Mount with a round or flat surface clamping base and RAM custom plastic cradle. The mount is designed with a RAM 1 inch diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment point at the cradle and base. With a twist of the arm knob, you can move the Apple iPhone 3G Series mount to your optimum viewing position.
Note: This mount does not require any drilling for installation.

Apple iPhone 3G Mount Cradle Design:
The RAM-HOL-AP6 Apple iPhone 3G and 3GS RAM Mount Cradle is a High Strength Plastic Composite Cradle designed specifically to hold all of the Apple iPhone 3G (2nd Generation) and Apple iPhone 3GS devices including:
- Apple iPhone 3G,
- Apple iPhone 3GS
The cradle is open at the top and bottom to allow you to connect head phones and required cables plus use all of the required buttons. When mounting the iPhone 3G or iPhone 3GS cradle to a RAM Mount with their patented ball and socket system, you can easily display your iPhone 3G / 3GS in landscape or portrait view. Now you can enjoy your Apple iPhone the way it was designed - very easily.

Apple iPhone 3G Mount Cradle Plate:The RAP-B-238 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Composite Diamond Plate is designed to connected to the back of the mount cradle. The diamond plate has a 1.0 inch diameter rubber ball connected at right angles to the plate, which connects directly to the 1 inch arm socket. The cradle includes the required hardware to connect the plate to the cradle. For a layout of the hole spacing and 1.0 inch rubber ball location, take a closer look with the RAM-B-238 Design Drawings (pdf file) (Note: the Plastic RAP-B-238 Plate is thicker than the RAM-B-238 Design Drawings shown).
Apple iPhone 3G Mount Arm Design: The RAP-B-201 RAM Mount Dual Socket Arm is a 1 inch B size Ball Dual Socket Arm made of High Strength Plastic. The arm is 3.0 inches long between socket centers. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends. Apple iPhone 3G Mount Base Design:
 The RAP-B-121B RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Universal Clamp Mount Base fits a rail or edge lip from 5/8'' to a maximum of 1 1/4''. The mounting base can also accept a second ball giving you the ultimate double ball base.
To mount the base, simply place the clamp ends around the rail and then screw the large knob at the end of the threaded rod. The hand tightened clamp makes this the perfect mounting system for rental planes, golf buggies or unusual shaped motorbike rails.
Note: The rail does not need to be perfectly round to mount this base.
