The RAM-B-149Z-A-AP6 Apple iPhone 3G Series Short Arm Motorcycle RAM Mount is a Marine Grade Aluminum Mount with a Zinc Coated U-Bolt Rail Base and RAM Custom Plastic Cradle. The mount is designed with a RAM 1 inch diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment point at the cradle and base. With a twist of the arm knob, you can move the Apple iPhone 3G Series mount to your optimum viewing position.
Apple iPhone 3G Mount Options:

Apple iPhone 3G Mount Cradle Design:
The RAM-HOL-AP6 Apple iPhone 3G and 3GS RAM Mount Cradle is a High Strength Plastic Composite Cradle designed specifically to hold all of the Apple iPhone 3G (2nd Generation) and Apple iPhone 3GS devices including:
- Apple iPhone 3G,
- Apple iPhone 3GS
The cradle is open at the top and bottom to allow you to connect head phones and required cables plus use all of the required buttons. When mounting the iPhone 3G or iPhone 3GS cradle to a RAM Mount with their patented ball and socket system, you can easily display your iPhone 3G / 3GS in landscape or portrait view. Now you can enjoy your Apple iPhone the way it was designed - very easily.

Apple iPhone 3G Mount Cradle Plate:
 The RAM-B-238 Marine Grade Aluminum Diamond Plate is designed to connected to the back of the mount cradle. The diamond plate has a 1.0 inch diameter rubber ball connected at right angles to the plate, which connects directly to the 1 inch arm socket. The cradle includes the required hardware to connect the plate to the cradle. Apple iPhone 3G Mount Arm Design:
 The RAM-B-201-A RAM Mount Dual Socket Short Arm is a 1 inch B size Ball Dual Socket Arm made of Marine Grade Aluminum. The arm is 1.75 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends. Apple iPhone 3G Mount Base Design:
 The RAM-B-231Z RAM Mount Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Rail Base has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball designed to sit at right angles to the mounting rail. The Zinc Coated metal U-Bolt and nuts included are designed it fit on most motorcycle round handlebars, or any circular rail or pipe with diameter from 3/4 to 1.0 inch.
To mount the rail base, place the top of the base on the rail and then slide the u-bolt around the rail, into the holes in the base top. Now tighten the screws onto the u-bolt until the base is clamped firmly. If you desire, you can now slot the black rubber covers over the exposed ends of the u-bolt.
Note: If you are looking to use this mount in the elements, we suggest the RAM-B-231 Stainless Steel U-Bolt Mount.
