The RAM-B-174-AP2 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Motorcycle Brake/Clutch Base Mount consists of the 1 inch diameter RAM ball and socket system with RAM Plastic Cradle for the Apple iPod Nano G1 and G2.
iPod Nano Cradle Design:
The RAM-HOL-AP2 Apple iPod nano RAM Mount Cradle is a High Strength Plastic Composite Cradle designed specifically to hold the Apple iPod nano 1st Generation and 2nd Generation including:
- Apple iPod nano 1GB (1st Generation)
- Apple iPod nano 2GB (1st Generation)
- Apple iPod nano 4GB (1st Generation)
- Apple iPod nano 2GB (2nd Generation)
- Apple iPod nano 4GB (2nd Generation)
- Apple iPod nano 8GB (2nd Generation)
The cradle is open at the top and bottom to allow you to connect head phones and required cables plus use all of the required buttons.
If you are looking to mount the Apple iPod nano 3rd Generation (with video) you require the RAM-HOL-AP5 Series of Apple iPod nano Mounts.

iPod Nano Arm Design:The RAM-B-201 Ram Mount Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Standard Length Double Socket Arm is 3.0" long when measured between socket centers.
iPod Nano Base Design:
 The RAM-B-309-7 RAM Mount Motorcycle Kit Base can mount to either the clutch/ brake reservoir or directly to a round handle bar rail. The base is constructed of marine grade aluminum with an integrated 1 inch diameter rubber ball, hardware for rail mounting and both standard and metric mounting bolts for motorcycle reservoir mounting. The zinc coated metal u-bolt and nuts included are designed it fit on most motorcycle round handlebars, or any circular rail or pipe with diameter from 1/2 to 1.25 inches.
The base connects to the left or right side of your handlebar clutch/brake reservoir on the Honda Goldwing and other select motorcycles or you can connect directly to your handlebars with the u-bolt hardware. To see if this base will work with your motorcycle, check the hole spacing of the base against your clutch/brake reservoir. The holes centers have a minimum width of 0.94 inches and a maximum of 1.58 inches.
