RAM MOUNT MAGELLAN EXPLORIST 510 610
Cons: small wheels rattled when driving, very annoying.
Fit fine, easy to install. Small wheels rattled when driving, not really necessary in a vehicle, so I removed them when warm with a table knife. Other than that unit was excellent.
Recommend? NO

RAM MOUNT FOR EXPLORIST 510 610 710
Pros: fits older holders, arms etc.
Cons: none
As usual the quality of the RAM mount leaves nothing to be desired. It is crafted well, the GPS fits perfectly and the installation was a as easy as can be.
Recommend? YES

DOES WHAT IT'S SUPPOSED TO DO!
Cons: marks the gpsr finish
I've been using this cradle for a couple of months now on my bicycle and it's been working very well. The GPS hasn't fallen out while riding on some pretty rough (poorly maintained) paved roads.
After some usage, it does seem to leave small wear marks on the GPSr's finish.
Recommend? YES

A GOOD MOUNT, BUT NOT A GREAT MOUNT!
Pros: solid construction and easy to snap unit into.
Cons: double roller configuration comes up lacking!
I have several RAM Mounts and have absolutely pleased with them, so I didn't hesitate to purchase another one for my new GPS. This mount, for the Magellan eX10 series units is a solid mount, however, since I'm using it for off roading in my Jeep, Samuri, ATV and dirts bike - I've found that the double roller configuration on this mount doesn't seem to hold the unit as well as the other mounts that I have. Due to the rounded body of the GPS and the two rollers I've had to unit spin out of the mount a couple of times so there is no way I'm going to mount this thing on the handlebars of my bikes or ATV.
Recommend? YES

GREAT FOR 610
Pros: solid construction
Cons: rattles when empty
Using this on my bike mount for my Explorist 610, works great, holds the GPS securely. I'm not a mountain biker, so I can't comment on if it handles bigger bumps.
Recommend? YES
