BEST GPS MOUNT
Pros: flexible rod tight fit in cup holder Cons: uses one cup holder, now need to share the other
Firstly, I would like to comment on service. I live in B.C. and ordered the unit in the afternoon and I received it by noon the next day. Wow, that's service! Now, the unit itself. I no longer need to use my windshield mount which is great as I spend winters in California where windshield mounts are illegal. So, from that point of view, the cup holder mount serves the purpose. My cup holder is very close to the gear shift lever but with the flexible rod, I am able to move the GPS so as not to interfere with the gear shift. The flexible rod could be a bit longer in order to raise the GPS for easier viewing but this is not a "deal breaker". All in all, I am completely satisfied with the cup holder mount.

VERY SOLID GPS MOUNT
Pros: well buit and designed Cons: none yet
I was surprised when the mount arrive, it was solid, not flimsy plastic. What a joy, something that is actually designed to last in this age of throw away merchandise.

WHERE'S THE INSTALLATION GUIDE
Pros: complete product shipped promptly Cons: no installation guide readily obtainable, it seems
I looked all inside the shipment box and on the expressmounts.com site for installation. Not everyone is mechanically inclined equally. I will try contacting the customer service phone line during operating hours tomorrow in hopes of resolving. I had a dickens of a time trying to work through plausible installation scenarios --- non of which seemed to work.
