I was looking for a mount to use on my kayak without drilling holes. This is perfect. It stays on solidly without fear of it coming off. Great price too.

CARS OK, HELICOPTERS NOT
I tried this in my car and the helicopter I fly. In the car, it works well staying stuck to the windshield and the arm allows the GPS to bounce a little. I suppose that's because of the arm being so long. Maybe a little mod might help. In the helo, it hangs off the roof window and even though the arm allows a lot of bouncing, it's still readable for the most part. Again, a little modifying might smooth out the vibrations from the aircraft, especially during descent. For cars, it's good. For helicopters, seek something better.
