Manufacturer Description |
The RAM-B-111-A RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Mount, with Short Arm and Screw Down Base, consists of the 1 inch diameter ball and socket system with RAM Universal Rectangular 6.25 x 2 inch Plate. This mount is designed to be a universal mounting solution for large electronic devices, including Marine GPS, CB Radios, Ham Radios and more. The hole pattern found on the rectangular plate will connect to a large variety of third party cradle, gimbal brackets and mounts.
Rectangular Universal Mount End Plate Design:The RAM-B-111B RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Universal Rectangular Plate has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball connected at right angles to a 6.25 x 2 inch plate. The plate has many different combinations of pre-drilled holes which will match up to many electronic devices and mounts, including Marine GPS, CB Radios, Ham Radios, Gimbal Brackets and more. For a layout of the hole spacing and 1 inch rubber ball location, take a closer look with the RAM-B-111B Design Drawings (pdf file).
Rectangular Universal Mount Arm Design:
 The RAM-B-201-A RAM Mount Dual Socket Short Arm is a 1 inch B size Ball Dual Socket Arm made of Marine Grade Aluminum. The arm is 1.75 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends. Rectangular Universal Mount Base Design:
 The RAM-B-202 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Screw Down Plate has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball connected at right angles to a 2.5 inch diameter Plate. The plate has pre-drilled holes in the base plate, including the universal AMPS hole pattern. For a layout of the hole spacing and 1.0 inch rubber ball location, take a closer look with the RAM-B-202 Design Drawings (pdf file).
Mount Base Mounting Solutions:Mounting hardware is NOT included with the purchase of the RAM-B-202. A semi-permanent solution for mounting this base is by using the RAM double sided adhesive disk (RAM-202PSA). The disk will hold the RAM-B-202 base in many different locations without screws.
