The RAM-HOL-MOT1 High Strength Plastic Cradle is designed to hold the Motion Computing LS800 Tablet (8.4'' Screen).
The Motion Computer/RAM Dock spring loaded holder mates easily to the factory MobileDock (not included, sold separately by manufacturer) and adds even more versatility to the tablet PC. To put the tablet in the holder, just place it into the top retaining leg and lift. Once the bottom clears the MobileDock, push back and allow the perfect tension of the spring loaded holder to slide the tablet into place. Insertion and removal made simple but secure. With a patented RAM-202 rubber ball base attached to the holder (not included), adjustment for ergonomics and viewing angles are a cinch.
Mounting Options:
The back of the RAM-HOL-MOT1 Motion Tablet Cradle includes a standard AMPS hole pattern for mounting. This will connect directly to the RAM-202 Plate with 1.5'' Ball.
The RAM-202 is included on some of the RAM Mounting Systems including the RAM-VB-109-1 Vehicle Mount Double Swing Arm that connects to the top of the RAM Tele-Pole and Vehicle Mount Bases. It is also included with the RAM-109H-3 Horizontal Base and RAM-109V-3 Vertical Base Swing Arm Mounts.

The RAM-HOL-MOT1 requires a small about of assembly. To help, we have taken some pictures if the steps required to build the cradle.

RAM-HOL-MOT1 hardware
The hardware includes 8x #6-32 x 1/2" long bolts, 12x #6-32 nuts, 4x #10-24 x 5/8" long bolts and 4x #10-24 nuts. |
Step 1
Connect Plate 1 to the top of the spring spine and Plate 2 to the bottom using 8x #6-32 x 1/2" bolts and #6-32 nuts |
Step 2
Place Plate 3a and 3b over the side hole on the connected Plate 2. |
Step 3
Slide the screws on Plate 4 through Plate 3a/3b and Plate 2 and then connect the 4x #6-32 nuts |
Step 4
Finally, slide the Rubber Cap over Plate 1 at the top and place the Motion MobileDock in the base of the cradle. |
