RAM MOUNT ON THE CLUTCH COVER.
Pros: simple, unobtrusive, inexpensive, it just works.
Cons: none
It works fine and places the GPS so I can see it without diverting my eyes from the road.

FIT PERFECTLY ON THE BMW K1200LT
Pros: fast install and looks great
Cons: none
Instructions are clear. All parts included. Took minutes to install and gave a solid, non-perminent mounting point on my motorcycle. Will be great to have a GPS mounting point.

WORKS FOR ME AND MY 2007 BMW R1200RT!
Pros: price, ease of install, quick delivery.
Cons: none
I bought the clutch resevoir mount for my GPS and it works great. It puts the GPS just at the right height for easy viewing. Dead simple to install - only 4 bolts - duh, even I can do that! Great price too.

I purchased this item for my 2004 BMW R1150R. It arrived very quickly. GPS City gave me a free upgrade in the shipping...just because. The mount lined up perfectly with the bolts on my clutch cover and installed in just a few minutes with the supplied hardware. Very solid install.

The mount located my Zumu 650 on my Buell Ulysses in the most appropriate position to use without having to move my head to read it.

NO HASSLE, WORKS GREAT
I was concerned about how this mount would look and feel, but this was the easiest GPS/accessory mount I've ever installed. I spent a lot of time researching the best way to mount my Zumo 550 to my BMW K1200LT (with funky handlebar covers, so you can't mount directly to them) and I should've just bought this at the beginning. It does block the left mirror quite a bit, so if you have a K-LT I'd recommend the offset ball version of this plate.

GREAT SOLUTION
perfect way to mount your gps/radar/whatever that you want attached securely to your bike. Have it on R1150R with huge lowrance iway 600 GPS and it is rock solid! GPS city has the best price I have found for this item.

BMW R1150RT INSTALLATION
Pros: quality product
Cons: safety issue as the gps blocks the rearview mirror
The quality of the product was good with the exception of the cheap plastic spacers that are installed between the mounting plate and clutch resevoir cover. They cold flow. Mounting the Zumo 550 with this mount also blocks approximately half of your left rearview mirror. This is a safety issue with me. I ended up machining my own mounting plate moving the center of the ball 1.75 inches to the right and in line with the forward mounting screws and machined metal spacers to replace the plastic ones. I have full usage of the rearview mirrors. No gauges are blocked and there is plenty clearance for the BMW tank bag and between the Zumo 550 and the windshield when it is in the down position.

This mounted my Nuvi 750 GPS right where its needed and within easy reach for the touch screen. Use it with the shortest arm so that it clears the wind shield when making full-lock Rt turns.

REVIEW OF RAM 345
I use the ram mount on my 03 BMW K1200GT. It’s a great way to mount a GPS or other devices. The mounting holes match up well to several applications, and the mount came with a selection of different length screws, so you could pick the one that best fits your needs. It’s a very clean looking installation that sits on top of your reservoir cover. The installation took about 3.5 minutes, and is very secure. I highly recommend this mount, just check your application for fit first. Cheers.
