RAM MOUNT FOR NUVI 550 (MOTORCYCLE)
Pros: very tight no movement,easy to install
Cons: looks could be better for harley -better paint job
Very easy to install took me less than 10 min. only rode my harley once since I have installed it but it seems to be very tight with no vibration. and easy to take gps off when need to. great item.

TORQUE SETTINGS PLEASE
Pros: quick install, nuvi held securely
Cons: no torque setting, ugly knob on the handlebars
Mounted next to the left mirror on my HD Heritage Softail, it is almost the exact same height as the left mirror. I especially like being able to see my speed as I glance left to check my mirrors every few seconds.
Installation was quick and easy, but I had to guess at how much to tighten the nuts on the plastic mounting bracket on the handlebars since the torque settings were not given. On my old Harley, everything vibrates and I didn't want it falling off but also didn't want to torque it down to the point where I cracked the plastic.
Recommend? YES

EXCELLENT GPS MOTORCYCLE MOUNT
Cons: no cons.
Solid mounting with no damage to bars. Works very well with and the price was right.

GOOD PRODUCT, LOOKS PREVIOUSLY USED THOUGH.
Pros: solid device, no missing parts
Cons: ball mount appears used, missing protective coatin
I bought this item here because they had the most competitive price after shipping costs were factored in. The holder for the GPS, the ball mount that goes on the back of the GPS holder, and the arm were all new looking and sealed in their respective pouches with nuts and bolts. No problems so far. However, the ball mount that attaches to the 1" motorcycle bar had a portion of its black coating scraped off in a manner that indicates the ball socket previously had an arm attached to it. Given that it was listed as a new product, I expected some quality control, particularly if this item had been returned from someone else and re-labeled as new. Note that I did not contact customer service to resolve this as I think the lack of some of the protective black coating will affect its look and metal-protective functionality in the elements but not necessarily the mount's primary function of giving the arm something to clamp on to. I may have to buy another ball mount years down the road if this one starts to rust at the exposed metal, but my purchase will not be made from gpscity.

STURDY MOUNT
Excellent sturdy mount. Can't really complaint about it. but if I want to be picky, I wish there's a way I can lock the GPS onto the bike, so someone can't steal it.

NUVI 550 MULTI & RAM MOUNT FOR MOTORCYCLE
Pros: size, battery life, water proof, versatile,
Cons: compass feature doesnt work well, not stable
Wanted a GPS unit that could be used in my truck and was water proof for my motorcycle. This was an excellent choice. Easy to use with gloves on and large bright screen. I have downloaded topos for off road riding and geocaching. It is paperless with a premium membership from geocache.com

WORKS GREAT.
Pros: all
Cons: none
Bought this for my Nuvi 500 to mount on my Honda VTX1300S. Worked out great. GPS snaps right in and holds in tight. I was concerned about the vibration would cause mount to not stay in the right place once set. I did not need to be concerned. Tighten up the mount and it stayed in place great. Thanks RAM Mounts & GPS City

GREAT MOTORCYCLE GPS MOUNT
Pros: easy to install, very adjustable, holds gps secure
Cons: none
I bought the RAM mount for my Suzuki DR650. It works great. Holds the Nuvi 500 nice and secure and allows a great deal adjustment as to positioning the screen for best viewing. I have had RAM mounts before so I expected a top notch product and I am not disappointed.
