The RAM-B-174-GA23 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Motorcycle Brake/Clutch Base Mount consists of the 1 inch diameter RAM ball and socket system with RAM Plastic Cradle for the Garmin Nuvi 6xx Series, including the Nuvi 650, Nuvi 660, Nuvi 670 and Nuvi 680.
Note: For the Nuvi 3xx Series, you will require the RAM Motorcycle Brake/Clutch Mount for the Garmin Nuvi 3xx Series (RAM-B-174-GA21)
Mount Cradle Design:
The RAM-HOL-GA23 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Cradle is designed to hold the Garmin nuvi 6xx Series, including the following GPS units,
- Garmin nuvi 650
- Garmin nuvi 660
- Garmin nuvi 670
- Garmin nuvi 680
- Garmin nuvi 600 (European Version)
- Garmin nuvi 610 (European Version)
The cradle will fit around the Garmin cradle that is included with the purchase of the Garmin nuvi 6xx series unit. This will allow you to connect a USB Cable to the Garmin cradle when required.
All cables can stay connected to the unit while in the RAM cradle.
The Garmin nuvi 3xx Series, including the nuvi 350, nuvi 360 , nuvi 370, nuvi 300 and nuvi 310, WILL NOT fit this cradle. These units require the RAM-HOL-GA21 RAM Mount Cradle for the Garmin nuvi 3xx Series.
Mount Arm Design:The RAM Mount Dual Socket Arm (RAM-B-201) is a B Size 1 inch Ball Dual Socket Arm, made of Marine Grade Aluminum. The arm is 3 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends.
Mount Base Design:
 The RAM-B-309-7 RAM Mount Motorcycle Kit Base can mount to either the clutch/ brake reservoir or directly to a round handle bar rail. The base is constructed of marine grade aluminum with an integrated 1 inch diameter rubber ball, hardware for rail mounting and both standard and metric mounting bolts for motorcycle reservoir mounting. The zinc coated metal u-bolt and nuts included are designed it fit on most motorcycle round handlebars, or any circular rail or pipe with diameter from 1/2 to 1.25 inches.
The base connects to the left or right side of your handlebar clutch/brake reservoir on the Honda Goldwing and other select motorcycles or you can connect directly to your handlebars with the u-bolt hardware. To see if this base will work with your motorcycle, check the hole spacing of the base against your clutch/brake reservoir. The holes centers have a minimum width of 0.94 inches and a maximum of 1.58 inches. |
