The RAP-B-121-A-238 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Universal Clamp Mount consists of the 1 inch diameter ball and socket system with RAM Diamond Plate and SHORT Arm. This mount is designed to be a universal mounting solution for both RAM and non-RAM designed products. The hole pattern found on the diamond plate will connect to a large variety of third party cradles and mounts.
Mount End Plate Design:
 The RAM-B-238 Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Universal Plate has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball connected at right angles to a 1 1/4 x 2 1/2 inch Diamond Plate. The plate has two pre-drilled holes positioned at either tip of the diamond plate. The hole pattern found on the Diamond Plate will connect to a large variety of RAM Mount and third party cradles and mounts, including those with the industry standard AMPS hole pattern. Mount Arm Design:The RAP-B-201-A RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Short Length Double Socket Arm is 1.75'' long when measured between socket centers.
Mount Base Design:
 The RAP-B-121B RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Universal Clamp Mount Base fits a rail or edge lip from 5/8'' to a maximum of 1 1/4''. The mounting base can also accept a second ball giving you the ultimate double ball base.
To mount the base, simply place the clamp ends around the rail and then screw the large knob at the end of the threaded rod. The hand tightened clamp makes this the perfect mounting system for rental planes, golf buggies or unusual shaped motorbike rails.
Note: The rail does not need to be perfectly round to mount this base. |
