The RAP-B-191C RAM High Strength Plastic Vehicle Mirror Mount consists of the 1 inch diamater ball and socket system with RAM Universal Diamond Plate End. The base is designed to connect to a Dodge Sprinter Van mirror bracket to hold light weight electronics. The hole pattern found on the Diamond Plate will connect to a large variety of third party cradles and mounts.
Important Note:
The RAM Mirror-Mate will not work with vehicles that have an OnStar system or rain sensor installed.
Mount End Plate Design:The RAP-B-238 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Composite Universal Plate has a 1.0 inch diameter rubber ball connected at right angles to a 1 1/4 x 2 1/2 inch Diamond Plate. The plate has two holes positioned at either tip of the diamond plate. For a layout of the hole spacing and 1.0 inch rubber ball location, take a closer look with the RAM-B-238 Design Drawings (pdf file) (Note: the Plastic RAP-B-238 Plate is thicker than the RAM-B-238 Design Drawings shown).
Mount Arm Design: The RAP-B-201 RAM Mount Dual Socket Arm is a 1 inch B size Ball Dual Socket Arm made of High Strength Plastic. The arm is 3.0 inches long between socket centers. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends. RAM now offers a mirror adaptor with ball that not only looks amazing, but performs beyond expectation. Simply remove your factory mirror, slide the RAM adaptor over the factory windscreen button, and tighten in place. This great little product replicates the factory button on the cab facing side so you can easily re-attach your factory mirror. The form and function of the RAM mirror adaptor is ideally suited for the mounting of GPS devices, rear view camera displays, radar detectors, cell phones, and so much more. The diamond base contains the industry standard AMPs hole pattern that will attach to most RAM cradles.
