The RAM High Strength Plastic Rail Mount consists of the 1'' dia. ball and socket system with RAM Universal Diamond Plate. This mount is designed to be a universal mounting solution for both RAM and non-RAM designed products. The hole pattern found on the Diamond Plate will connect to a large variety of third party cradles and mounts.
BASE DESIGN: The High Strength Plastic Rail Base has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball designed to sit at right angles to the mounting rail. The Rail 'U' Clamp will fit a circular rail with diameter up to 1.0 inch.
NOTE: Placing a rubber lining (not included) between the tube and the mount for a tube with a diameter less than 1.0 inch will help the base 'grab' the rail.
ARM DESIGN: The High Strength Plastic Standard Length Double Socket Arm is 3.0'' long when measured between socket centers.
END PLATE DESIGN: The RAP-B-238 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Composite Universal Plate has a 1.0 inch diameter rubber ball connected at right angles to a 1 1/4 x 2 1/2 inch Diamond Plate. The plate has two holes positioned at either tip of the diamond plate.
