SIMPLE AND CLEAN
Pros: clean, factory looking installation.
I've installed two of these on my Hobie Revolution kayak, will install two more. I knew before hand that the nut would have to be modified due to the confined space underneath but it was well worth it. Now I have the flexibility to configure my yak in a snap for all the different uses: fishing, camping, racing or adventure with all the different accessories using all different types of mounts. Very clean, factory looking flush installation.

OK BUT DIDN'T FIT MY NEED
Pros: nicely made
Cons: didn't meet my needs
Thought from the catalog that the Plastic Wedge 1 inch Ball Base Scotty Hobie Kayaks would fit in this mount, but it doesn't. Its probably fine for other purposes, but just wasted money for me.
Recommend? NO
