ADHESIVE BASE
Adhesive did not hold for very long. Had to use superglue in the end.

GOOD PRODUCT
Like all Ram-Mount stuff - good quality. Base might get a little soft when warm, allowing it to jiggle a bit when device is attached.

LIMITED APPLICATION
I would recommend the item for the usual RAM quality and ease of use it embodies. I am not so pleased that it seems my choice of mounts was not ideal, as the unit is intended to display the GPS vertically the unit actually mounts horizontally, and the mount will not accommodate this configuration to the extent I would like, due to angle limitations.
Recommend? YES

OK FOR A BASIC MOUNT
I needed a basic ball-and-socket mount for a custom mirror, and this part did the trick. Could be better if it was easier to turn (too sticky). But, it comes well designed, and they even throw in the 6-32 screws and 3M VHB double-sided mounting tape. Great for universal applications.
