The RAM-B-138-A RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Screw Down Mount consists of the 1 inch diameter ball and socket system with RAM Universal Diamond Plate End. This mount is designed to be a universal mounting solution for both RAM and non-RAM designed products. The hole pattern found on the Diamond Plate will connect to a large variety of third party cradles and mounts.
Mount End Plate Design:The RAP-B-238 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Composite Universal Plate has a 1.0 inch diameter rubber ball connected at right angles to a 1 1/4 x 2 1/2 inch Diamond Plate. The plate has two holes positioned at either tip of the diamond plate. For a layout of the hole spacing and 1.0 inch rubber ball location, take a closer look with the RAM-B-238 Design Drawings (pdf file) (Note: the Plastic RAP-B-238 Plate is thicker than the RAM-B-238 Design Drawings shown).
Mount Arm Design:The RAP-B-201-A High Strength Plastic Short Length Double Socket Arm is 1.75 inches long when measured between socket centers.
Mount Base Design: The RAP-B-202 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Universal Plate has a 1.0 inch diameter rubber ball connected at right angles to a 2.5 inch diameter round plate. The plate has 4 holes that match the universal industry standard AMPS hole pattern. For a layout of the hole spacing and 1.0 inch rubber ball location, take a closer look with the RAM-B-202 Design Drawings pdf file (Note: the Plastic RAP-B-202 Plate only has the AMPS square four hole pattern).
Note: This base plate will attach to any of the RAM plastic HOL holders, but generally the RAP-B-238 Diamond Plate is used.
