The RAM High Strength SHORT Plastic Rail Mount consists of the 1'' dia. ball and socket with button system and RAM Universal Diamond Plate.
BASE DESIGN: The High Strength Plastic Rail Base has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball designed to sit at right angles to the mounting rail. The Rail 'U' Clamp will fit a circular rail with diameter up to 1.0 inch.
NOTE: Placing a rubber lining (not included) between the tube and the mount for a tube with a diameter less than 1.0 inch will help the base 'grab' the rail.
ARM DESIGN: The High Strength Plastic SHORT Length Single Socket Arm is 1.75'' long when measured from socket center to button socket end.
END PLATE DESIGN: The High Strength Plastic Universal Plate has a 1.0'' diameter Round Male Button on an Octagon Neck, connected at right angles to a 1 1/4'' x 2 1/2 '' Diamond Plate. The plate has two holes positioned at either tip of the diamond plate.
NOTE: This base plate will attach to any of the RAM plastic HOL holders and the industry standard AMPS hole pattern.
