EXCELLENT RAM-A-CAN
Pros: makes gps operation very convenient an accessible. Cons: none
So far, I have been very pleased with my ram-a-can cup holder mount. I already had the rest of the mount from a previous mounting on a motorcycle, so, to move it to my car, all I had to do was add the ram-a-can and disassemble the rest of the old mount. It fits in my cup holder just right and places the GPS close enough to see clearly and enter guidance info into. Works great! All the functions of the GPS, including MP# player, fall readily to hand.

SWEET MOUNT
Pros: simplicity of use, good visibility, very sturdy Cons: none
This mount works perfectly in the truck cup holder. Not only is it sturdy, but the lower mounting posiiton increases visibiity in high sun conditions

GREAT BOAT MOUNT
Pros: durability, ease of use Cons: none
A great product for mounting a GPS in a cup holder. Be advized this unit is meant to go in a large size cup holder thirstbuster size, not coke can size. Totally satisfied with product.

RAM MOUNT RAM-A-CAN II CUP HOLDER MOUNT
Pros: quality piece, adjustable, good price
Very good piece for the money. Quality construction seems to be the norm for RAM. I used it in my 2009 Dodge 1500 to hold my 10" viewsonic g tablet to use as a GPS etc. I used the tab tite holder (see my other review). This set up works great. Holds the 10" tablet very well and is infinately adustable.

GREAT MOUNT FOR A GOLF CART
I use this mount for an iPad in a golf cart and it does quite well. Bit a tight squeeze in the cup holder, but that just helps to keep it in place. Would be nice if the fins were adjustable/replaceable.

CUPHOLDER GPS MOUNT
Pros: high quality Cons: vibration
Very well made mount sits firmly in place. I experienced considerable vibration using as a GPS holder for a power boat when running at cruising speed. I had not expected this.

RAM MOUNT RAM-A-CAN II CUP HOLDER MOUNT RAP-299-2U
The GPS is closer to me than if was on a dash mount. GPS screen does not wash out in the sunlight as much. Would be nice if the goose-neck rotated on the base (with some friction, of course) so a passenger could view the GPS.

GREAT DEVICE
Pros: does what it say and is quality made Cons: none
This is perfect for my F150, loads right into the cup holder, nice and tight, out of the light, yet easy to remove. If you have a cup holder that can handle this it is the perfect thing for you GPS....wonderful, I can angle the GPS and it's right within view and easier to hear and easier to fiddle with, sort of and indash installation this is the best device out there

WORKS AS IT SHOULD
Pros: good quality, convenient, portable Cons: none.
Ram-Mount stuff rocks. Solid piece, heavier than I thought it would be. Arm is not flimsy at all. This item works well on my iPhone used in conjunction with a Ram-Mount generic smartphone cradle.

BIG!
Pros: goose stem good as on other mounts. good construct Cons: too big a base. bad design.
I should have checked dimensions. I got it and I have yet to figure out a use for it beyond using it as a large paperweight. It is too big. The base, even without the rubber extenders, is larger than any cup holder I have ever had in any vehicle I have owned. I don't know what else to say about it. It is well constructed. It is just too big!

HEAVY DUTY!
This mount is built for the long haul. The flexible arm is very rigid--in fact it's solid metal, stiff, and rather hard to manipulate. I was hoping it would be easy to twist the mount from vertical to horizontal, but that's not going to happen without using two hands. The base is well weighted. The rubber fins made the base a bit too big for my cupholder. After calling GPS City and finding out that the base could not be disassembled to remove the fins, I trimmed each fin down slightly until the base fit my cup holder. (The fins are each marked with a number of vertical lines, so trimming each one to a uniform width wasn't too hard.) Ultimately, the base fit in my vehicle, and it will take armageddon to move it!

Pros: works like a charm Cons: ya lose a cupholder
Great product, had a concern that the flexible arm would not hold phone securely while driving but it is very rigid. I was pleasantly surprised
