Manufacturer Description |
The RAM-B-108-PD1U Universal PDA RAM Mount is a Marine Grade Aluminum Mount with a Universal Strap Base and RAM Top Clamping Universal Plastic Cradle. The mount is designed with a RAM 1 inch diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment point at the cradle and base. With a twist of the arm knob, you can move the PDA mount to your optimum viewing position.
PDA Mount Cradle Design:
 The RAM-HOL-PD1 RAM Mount high strength plastic top clamping cradle is designed to hold a large amount of different kinds of electronic devices, especially PDAs. For a layout of the dimensions RAM-HOL-PD1 cradle, take a closer look with the RAM-HOL-PD1 Design Drawings (pdf file).

- Cradle Height Range: 4.38 to 5.75 inches
- Cradle Maximum Width: 3.39 inches
- Cradle Maximum Thickness: 0.87 inches
PDA Mount Cradle Plate:
 The RAM-B-238 Marine Grade Aluminum Diamond Plate is designed to connected to the back of the mount cradle. The diamond plate has a 1.0 inch diameter rubber ball connected at right angles to the plate, which connects directly to the 1 inch arm socket. The cradle includes the required hardware to connect the plate to the cradle. PDA Mount Arm Design:
 The RAM-B-201 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Dual Socket Arm is a 1 inch B size Ball Socket Arm with open socket ends. The arm is 3.0 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends. PDA Mount Base Design:
 The RAM-B-108B RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Rail Strap Mount Base is a clamping rail strap base. The base includes a 6 inch metal strap and an 8 inch long metal strap designed to fit a rail or post with a diameter from 1 to 1.9 inches. When the base is mounted, a 1 inch rubber ball sits at a right angles to the mounting post.
NOTE: The base mounts on round, square or odd shaped posts.
