The RAM High Strength Plastic Rail Mount consists of the 1" dia. ball and socket system with RAM Plastic Cradle for the Lowrance GlobalMap 100 and AirMap100.
BASE DESIGN:
The High Strength Plastic Rail Base has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball designed to sit at right angles to the mounting rail. The Rail 'U' Clamp will fit a circular rail with diameter up to 1.0 inch.
For a larger rail, you can purchase the RAM-B-231Z Aluminum Rail Base with Zinc Coated U-Bolt for circular rails with diameter from 1/2 to 1 3/8 inches.
NOTE: Placing a rubber lining (not included) between the tube and the mount for a tube with a diameter less than 1.0 inch will help the base 'grab' the rail.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR MOTORCYCLES USES:
This base is NOT recommended for Motorcycles due to the heavy vibration. An alternative would be the RAM-B-231 Stainless Steel U-Bolt Base and the RAM-B-149 Stainless Steel U-Bolt System.
ARM DESIGN:
The High Strength Plastic Standard Length Double Socket Arm is 3.0" long when measured between socket centers.
CRADLE DESIGN:
 The RAM-HOL-LO1 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Cradle is designed to hold the Lowrance AirMap, GlobalMap and GlobalNav Series, including the following GPS units,
- Lowrance AirMap 100
- Lowrance GlobalMap 100
- Lowrance GlobalNav 12
- Lowrance GlobalNav 200
- Lowrance GlobalNav 212
- Eagle Explorer
All cables can stay connected to the unit while in the RAM cradle.
