STICKS FOR SURE
Pros: really sticks and holds
The other mounts I have tried used a suction cup to hold them on. They never worked and always came off. The RAM mount sticks and does not come off even during rough rides in my Jeep.

DID NOT STICK
Pros: no problem refunded quickly
Cons: did not stick
I received the adhesive disk in it's original package I took it out of the box, peeled the tape off stuck it to the RAM mount then peeled the other tape off and stuck it to the plastic panel insire my vehicule the mount fell second's after. may be a bad Sticker. GPS city refunded me quickly excellent service.
Recommend? NO OPINION

BEST ADHESIVE 3M DISK
Pros: withstands extreme low and high temps
Cons: none
I have had one of these holding a ram mount(mounted vertically) in my Ford Expedition for 10 years. It has never come loose and is as it was mounted 10 years ago thru -30 degrees below to 130 degrees above! No other adhesive that I have ever used has lasted so long under these conditions.

DOUBLE SIDED ADHESIVE DISC
Pros: works well
Cons: confusing peel off label
The original disc that came with my RAM mount failed so I ordered a replacement.Instructions were minimal so at first I mistook the clear plastic layer on one side as the disc surface. Only by chance did I discover that it peeled off revealing a sticky surface.
The product would be better if both sides used opaque peel- off layers.
Ohter than that, it works well. Gpscity's service was excellent.

RAM 2.5" "PERMANENT" ADHESIVE MOUNTING DISK
Stuck it to a vertical aluminum surface in an airplane to hold a ball mount, arm and GPS - seems to work fine

WORST WASTE OF MONEY

Cons: doesnt stick at all, waste of money
I am and always been a big fan of anything with the 3M brand. It always means quality. This is apparently the wrong use of the adheisive pad. I went through 3 pads to mount the ram rose disc on my dash(textured) and on a completely flat smooth service. I cleaned it with the alchohol pad and let everything warm up in the sun. It takes about 7 seconds for the pad to slide off and hit the ground. On the other hand The Ram suction Cup assembly attached to any surface without a hitch, so you dont even need a separate disc, just mount it up direct using the suction cup mount.

A GREAT FIX
This product is really good. My mount has a flexible base which works great on the dash, however I had to move it and the original adhesive broke down on me. This replacement disk is great and holds just fine.I first cleaned the base of the mount with alcohol, very happy with this sticky product. Jim Callanan

BAD GLUE DISK
Pros: none
Cons: all con in more ways than one
I had the same thing happen to me. These disks are junk. I cannot believe that they are made by RAM Mount. They must be from some inferior provider. I tried to carefully peal the paper off and the glue came off with the paper. I don't want to glue the paper to my dash. Also, I noticed that there was almost no application of glue on this disk. Useless and a disgrace to RAM MOUNT quality

For the most part, these pads are worthless. Even after prepping the surface properly they do not stick, stick for only a few days/hours or as most of these have done- the adhesive separates from the pad. My biggest issue I had with several of these is the adhesive separating from the actual pad that the adhesive is supposedly stuck to. I had 1 out of 7 work correctly.
