| GREAT MOUNT FOR MY DRIFT HD170 |
|
|
Wanted a good place to mount a second camera for photos. I already have one for videos. So came up with the ideal of drilling a hole in the windscreen and attaching the ram mount to the windscreen bracket. Worked out great. |

The RAM mount fits exactly like it should in the Lowrance unit. It is sturdy and sits just like the factory mount would in the unit. Overall a great fit and a great mount. |

| GOPRO HD 'SCENIC' RIDE |
|
|
I bought the following items to mount my GoPro HD to my motorcycle to record some of my trips. It was a simple matter of unscrewing a bolt, placing mount under bolt and retightening. Simple stuff and sturdy too.
(Medium Arm B-Socket RAM-B-201U)
(Mini Motorcycle Mount Base 9mm Hole RAM-B-272U)
(HERO Tripod Mount Adapter)
(Camera Mount Plate RAM-B-202AU)
I mounted the RAM mount to the back of my bike. A buddy of mine and I went for a spirited sunday ride around some curvy parts of town... We were doing some laps around this area and we came across two young women and they had noticed that we'd been doing laps. As we passed by on our final run, one of the two young women flashed us. My friend nearly dumped his bike and in the reply video, you can see his head turning in the direction of the visual assault. We turned around and looked for them but unfortunately, they were gone. We quickly went home to review the video captured and thanks to the RAM mount bought from GPSCity, we can relive the moment for years to come. Also makes a great story. Unfortunately the stills from the video are inappropriate to post, so I've posted another 'scenic' picture from that ride.

| GARMIN MAP76CSX ON SKI DOO TOURING 380 |
|
|
Mounted the new Garmin Map 76csx on the sled using the RAM mount with the 1" plate base. No joke, it took less than 1/2 an hour to mount it and that was taking my time! Since I don't have a tach, the mounting location was easy to choose, and easy to see/reach.
The mount works great and holds the GPS very snug. I didn't hard wire the unit to the sled's battery, but it still worked great on a -20C day. You can see in the pic that on this fresh snow day, the screen of the GPS kept getting covered, but when breaking trail, I'm not looking down at the GPS very often... just trying to stay out of the rhubarb!
The Garmin Map 76csx works flawlessly. I am upgrading from a Garmin E-Trex Summit, which worked great but lacked mapping capabilities. I was able to load maps from a friend's TopoCanada software, and with the 4 gig card, I have more than I'll need. Since I'll primarily be using this for fishing, being waterproof was a must. This should be my GPS unit for a long time to come!
I also bought the u-bolt mount and look forward to exchanging it between the Foreman 450 and the boat come spring!

| RAM SUCTION CAMERA MOUNT |
Suction mount outside |
Suction camera mount inside windshield
|
I like to shoot videos for youtube driving various vehicles and farm equipment. I needed a hands free method so I could keep both hands steering or working controls of the vehicle or machine.
I had been impressed with the strength and durability of the Ram mount that came with my Trimble Ezee Guide GPS system used in the tractors. So the Ram suction camera mount looked like a good alternative to hold my panasonic TZ1 digital camera while shooting video.
It holds the camera solid and gives a reasonable range of adjustment. So far I am impressed with it.

| YAESU FT-7900 INSTALL |
|
|
This is a clean install for a Yaesu FT-7900 in a 2007 Dodge Mega Cab which did not call for any drilling into the factory dash. Double sided tape holds the base and the rest is pretty much self explanatory about its install of this fine item. This is the third install I have used RAM mounts to keep drilling into the factory plastic to a minimum. |

| RAM MOUNTS FOR ROUGH BALLOON LANDING |

Ready to pick up any RAM Mount Ball
|
Many years I was looking for a smart and good concept for a reliable and strong holder for my competition laptop and my GPS. I found then the RAM Mounts and I am still very pleased with them. Even if I have rough landings (especially during balloon competition), everything is still at the defined place and this because of the RAM Mounts.
Thanks for inventing them. |

| RAM UBOLT MOUNT WITH CAMERA AND PDA |

Just a couple to post for you, the mounts are holding my Palm and my DV recorder. One plays the tunes, the other records a few of my more stupid moments. Oops did I say that? I meant the pretty roads I encounter.... |
