Manufacturer Description |
The RAM Marine Grade Aluminum Dash Mount consists of the 1'' dia. ball and socket system with RAM Universal Diamond Plate. This mount is designed to be a universal mounting solution for both RAM and non-RAM designed products. The hole pattern found on the Diamond Plate will connect to a large variety of third party cradles and mounts.
BASE DESIGN:
 The RAM-B-202 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Screw Down Plate has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball connected at right angles to a 2.5 inch diameter Plate. The plate has pre-drilled holes in the base plate, including the universal AMPS hole pattern. For a layout of the hole spacing and 1.0 inch rubber ball location, take a closer look with the RAM-B-202 Design Drawings (pdf file).
Mount Base Mounting Solutions:Mounting hardware is NOT included with the purchase of the RAM-B-202. A semi-permanent solution for mounting this base is by using the RAM double sided adhesive disk (RAM-202PSA). The disk will hold the RAM-B-202 base in many different locations without screws.
ARM DESIGN:
The Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum LONG Double Socket Arm is 5.25'' long when measured between socket centers.
END PLATE DESIGN:
 The RAM-B-238 Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Universal Plate has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball connected at right angles to a 1 1/4 x 2 1/2 inch Diamond Plate. The plate has two pre-drilled holes positioned at either tip of the diamond plate. The hole pattern found on the Diamond Plate will connect to a large variety of RAM Mount and third party cradles and mounts, including those with the industry standard AMPS hole pattern.
