Q1 ULTRA IN A CESSNA 172
Pros: holds the q1 unit solidly Cons: nothing bad to say about the unit or gpscity.com
I received a SAMSUNG Q1 Ultra as a gift and decides that it would make a great GPS/Primary Flight Display for my plane. The Q1 Ultra UMPC Cradle arrived promptly and mounted flawlessly to my existing yoke mount. Great quality at a great price.

RAM MOUNT FOR SAMSUNG Q1U
Pros: good, quick, accommodating Cons: none
GPS City is great! I orginally bought the wrong RAM mount, when I notified them of the mistake they really jumped through hoops to help me. I was going to be in the area of thier office on business and asked if I could just come by and swap it out. When I got to their office they got me the right part in just few minutes and I was on my way.

PERFECT FIT FOR SAMSUNG Q1 ULTRA
Pros: quality, fit
Very pleased with the strength of plastic used in this part. Fit is nice and snug, no rattling. I coupled this with the "hose clamp" style bar mount (RAM-B-108BU) to put my tablet style UMPC on my bicycle handlebars for GPS & maps in Germany and am extremely pleased with the result. My tablet PC weighs 1.5lbs and the mount remains stiff as a rail under real bumpy road usage. This mount allows for very quick and easy removal of the unit for take away security.

QUALITY
This is a great mount for your second generation Q1. Will fit snuggly with or without extended battery. The stylus is a little weird to get out, but not horrible. Removing the Q1u is also a little difficult*, but the good new is it's not going to come out on its own. 5 of 5 was docked half point for the "extra" plastic impeding stylus removal and another half point for being hard to take out of the mount. *note: I screwed the mount onto a flat surface (inside a Pelican case) instead of using one of the RAM attachments so removing the tablet is even harder. The upper "tab" or "release" needs to bend backward in order to move up and over the Q1u so a flat surface limits its range of motion. It's still very removable, but not something I would want to do many times a day.

Q1 ULTRA - MY ERROR
Please disregard earlier review. My "Q1 Ultra Mobile PC" is apparently NOT the "Q1 Ultra". The confusion was on my end. The label on the device clearly states Q1 Ultra, even though it's not a Q1 Ultra. Thanks to Samsung for the confusion.

Q1 ULTRA DOES NOT FIT!!
The Q1 Ultra does not fit in this cradle. The cradle is at least 1/2" too short. Apparently, they never tested this with an actual Q1 Ultra before they started shipping them.
