The RAM-B-316-1-SAM1 Samsung Q1 UMPC (Ultra Mobile PC) Flex Rod Vehicle Floor RAM-POD-I Mount is a Marine Grade Aluminum and Plastic Composite Mount with a RAM Custom Plastic Cradle. The mount is designed with a RAM 1 inch diameter RAM ball and socket system on a 18 inch long Aluminum Rigid Flex Rod. With a twist of the arm knob, you can move the top of Samsung Q1 UMPC Series mount to your optimum viewing position.
Note: This mount does not require any drilling for installation.

Samsung Q1 Ultra UMPC Mount Cradle Design:
The RAM-HOL-SAM1 High Strength Plastic Cradle is a custom cradle designed to hold the Samsung Q1 UMPC/Tablet Series, including the following UMPC units,
- Samsung Q1 UMPC
- Samsung Q1B UMPC
- Samsung Q1P UMPC
This custom cradle has a four (4) hole AMPS patten on the back for connecting to the RAM-B-202 Mounting Plate with 1 inch Ball giving you the freedom to mount the Samsung Q1 anywhere you need, while keeping all of your required cables connected.
Samsung Q1 Ultra UMPC Mount Cradle Plate:
 The RAM-B-202 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Round Plate is designed to connected to the back of cradles with an AMPS hole pattern. The round plate has a 1.0 inch diameter rubber ball connected at right angles to the plate, which connects directly to the 1 inch arm socket. The cradle includes the required hardware to connect the plate to the cradle. Samsung Q1 Ultra UMPC Mount Arm Design: The RAP-B-200-1 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Single Socket Short Arm has a B Size 1 inch Ball Socket at one end, and a Female Octagon button connection at the other. The Octagon Button end will mount on the end of the Aluminum Flex Rod, allowing the 1 inch socket to hold your device cradle or plate. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket end.
Samsung Q1 Ultra UMPC Mount Base Design: The RAM-316-1A RAM Mount Rigid Arm Base consists of a RAM octagon at the end of a 18 inch rigid flex arm with seat rail base. The RAM-POD-I mounting foot plate base is designed to connect to a vehicle seat rail bolt in your Car, Truck, SUV, RV, Big Rig or bolted location. Connected at right angles to the mounting foot is an 18 inch long Aluminum Flexible Rod. This rod can hold light to medium weight items in your vehicle safely and securely. At the top of the rigid flex rod is a male RAM High Strength Plastic Octagon Button that will connect directly to a RAM Female Octagon Button Arm.
Movement of the Rigid 18 inch Flex Arm:It is important to note that the rigid 18 inch flex arm found on this mount is designed to hold an approximate weight of up to 4 lbs. With this in mind, the aluminum rod is more rigid than flexible. It is designed to be bent into position when being installed and then hold it's position. This means you cannot move the mount around once installed with just one hand.
