PRODUCT DOESN'T WORK
Pros: great idea
Cons: doesn't work clamp worthless
Seat clamp very weak and will not hold mount I paid over a hundred dollars for this. wasted money

SEAT CLAMP WORTHLESS
Pros: the idea
Cons: it doesn't work
This seatclamp is absolutely worthless. It won't hold up the mount alone let alone applying any motion from the vehicle. I wasted a little over a hundred bucks on this. The idea is great just come up with a clamp that works

RAM MOUNT SEAT CLAMP
Pros: sturdy
Cons: needs a upper bracket to hold it steady.
I like this clamp, for the dodge ram 1500, the clamp almost didnt fit the seat, If they made the clamp flat instead of v-shaped it would of fit better. But it did, its sturdy and the instructions are accurate, I had to use a old vent mount for a additional brace to stop the mount from swaying back and forth. But i'm happy.
Recommend? YES

STURDY BUT WANTS TO FALL WITH IPAD CRADLE
Use with iPad cradle and it seems to want to slip at the lower ball joint if the iPad is in any position other than right on top of the mount

SEAT CLAMP MOUNT
Pros: arm and sockets quality
Cons: c clamp can't be mounted firm enough
The arm and pivots are excellent but the clamp is good for nothing. There is no way I could get the clamp to stop rotating back and forth, too loose to hold the weight of my iPad- ordered a separate ball with a plate and secured it to my truck, now it does the job it was supposed to.
Recommend? NO
