COMPACT SOCKET ARM
I needed to mount a large display behind the windshield of my boat. It needed to be compact yet rigid. This product delivered both. I was able to mount my display in a small space and its short length provides minimal deflection in rough conditions. The quality is what you would expect from RAM.

RAM MOUNT SHORT LENGTH DUAL 1.5 INCH SOCKET ARM
Performed as expected. I have several Ram Mount products and they all have performed as advertised. The product quality is worth the price.

SIZE DOES MATTER
Pros: size is great
Cons: a bit harder to tighten due to the smaller size
I purchased this as part for mounting my cell phone holder, but have found the shorter length better for my laptop mount as well, I wish I would have seen this two years ago when I bought my laptop mount instead of the standard size. The only down side to this is the smaller size is a bit harder to tighten up, so I had to reduce the rating, but I would rate it at 4.5.

GOOD PRODUCT
Pros: holds 522c igps solid in all conditions
Mounted easy and works as expected,have use on 2 fishing trips.

XM RECEIVER
Pros: works well and holds receiver without slipping
Cons: handle too big
The only thing that I would change would be the handle for this product. I used this to hold my XM receiver to my handle bars and the handle is a little to big.
