Stan Alabama Dec 16, 2010	RAM MOUNT SMALL DUAL STEEL U BOLT BASE 1.5 BALL Pros: allows mounting with out drilling Cons: none I had ordered this type item and the one I recieved was for a larger rail. (my mistake) GPS city quickly and conviently replaced it with the size I needed (.75" rail). So I recomend confirming your order with customer service. The Mount seems to work great. I mounted it on the grab rail around the Console on my Gambler Bass Boat. Haven't got to check how solid it is in rough water but I believe it will be fine.Note Be sure to install the black bolt caps before installing a mounting arm. With a small rail, at extreme angles the bolts can scratch your mounting arm.(@$% ^^# it) Bolts can be trimmed after your sure of the mounting and this would not be a problem Recommend?
