MOTORCYCLE HANDLEBAR SPOT GPS MOUNT
I bought the mount for a two week trip into central Australia. The mount didn't move an inch for the whole trip. When needed the Spot tracker was easily removed from the cradle.
Recommend? YES

SPOT MOTORCYCLE MOUNT
Works like a champ.. Not that I had an worries.. Ive used RAM products for quite some time and have yet to be disappointed..
Snaps in very tight and has no play so there is minimal wear on my spot.
Recommend? YES

SPOT LOCATOR WITH RAM MOUNT ON MY KLR-650
I purchased the RAM mount because my tracking function was not always satisfactory with the SPOT in the tank bag. When I recieved my mount, I couldn't figure out how to make it work with the parts I received. However, after looking at the picture on line, I decided that I did not have everything I needed so I called GPS city and explained what pieces I had. The gentleman that I spoke to quickly identified what was missing and sent the missing parts to me the same day at no cost to me and with a very sincere apology. I would definitely give them a "10" for customer service. Once I received the missing parts, the mount was very easy to assemble and install. The mount itself exceeded my expectations in terms of the solid, secure clamp assembly and an almost infinite variety of positions that can be acheived using the ball and socket arm and clamp. The clam shell also holds the SPOT very securely and does not interfere with any of the buttons or LED's. The mount comes with a "U" bolt (which I did not use) for universal mounting to the handlebar as well as a special adaptor and two screws that facillitate mounting directly to the front brake master cylinder where it is clamped to the handle bar. It makes a really clean installation and looks like it came on the bike. After mounting the SPOT, my tracking works much better. I later installed a tall windshield and found that when the bars were turned all the way to the left that the SPOT with the windsheild. It was very ease to readjust the RAM mount positioning mechanism to eliminate the interference problem. The description on the website does not do the unit justice. It looks and works much better than the picture and the description. I am pretty picky and I am very well pleased with the unit.
