It's a perfect fit. Quality item, I like the little roller that eases the clipping in and out of the holder and the loop that can be used to zip-tye the spot to the holder in case of a shock. looks good on my GS!

RAM ROCKS!

SPOT RAM MOUNT
Pros: flexible and strong
Mounted SPOT on my 800GS bars, in upright position. Good satellite view, and can still see gauges.

SPOT RAM MOUNT
Pros: fit, installation
Fit is excellent, I installed it on my KTM Adventure and it held the spot over moderately rough ground, I did put a ziptye around it just for extra security.

RAM MOUNT FOR SPOT GPS
Just perfect. I use it on my Enduro BMW 650GS Dakar it hold thight even when I go off road. Very satisfied.

SPOT MOUNTING BRACKET
It fit perfectly on my 1200GS. After a couple of hundred miles, the Spot still fits perfectly. I'm confident it will work great for the trips to Montana and Alaska.
