The RAM Marine Grade Aluminum Rail Strap Mount consists of the 1" dia. ball and socket system with RAM Universal 2.5" diameter Plate. This mount is designed to be a universal mounting solution for both RAM and non-RAM designed products. The hole pattern found on the 2.5" Plate will connect to a large variety of third party cradles and mounts.
BASE DESIGN:
 The RAM-B-108B RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Rail Strap Mount Base is a clamping rail strap base. The base includes a 6 inch metal strap and an 8 inch long metal strap designed to fit a rail or post with a diameter from 1 to 1.9 inches. When the base is mounted, a 1 inch rubber ball sits at a right angles to the mounting post.
NOTE: The base mounts on round, square or odd shaped posts.
ARM DESIGN:
The Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum LONG Double Socket Arm is 5.25" long when measured between socket centers.
END PLATE DESIGN:
 The RAM-B-202 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Universal Plate has a 1.0" diameter Rubber Ball connected at right angles to a 2.5 inch diameter round plate. The plate has pre-drilled holes in the base plate, including the universal AMPS hole pattern. Note: This base plate will attach to any of the RAM plastic HOL holders, but generally the RAM-B-238 Diamond Plate is used.
