IT JUST WOULDN'T WORK
I was told when i purchased the item the you " just unscrew the 2 little screws from the old mount and screw them into this one" As soon as I took out one screw the connections broke and the whole system is worthless.

BEST EVER
I stuck it to my window at -20c and now that it is above 0, never moves and the streets in Edmonton are brutal with pots holes.

GREAT VERSITILE GPS MOUNT
Pros: solid quality, great performance
Cons: standard locking knob would be nice.
I purchased the kit so I would have the greatest flexibility with my GPS. I have a ball mount on my motorcycle and this mount holds the unit firmly in place while riding. I have the flexibity of mounting it my car with the suction cup mount that came with the kit. The suction mount was immensly stronger than the stock suction mount unit.

PUTS OEM TO SHAME
Cons: have to swap 12v contacts from original mount.
This is what should be shipped with every GPS. Sticks where mounted, even in the hot Florida sun. Hasn't fallen off once in months.

MOUNT WITH NO CONNECTION
Pros: sturdy, well-made mount.
Cons: without the electrical cord, it is not functional
Although my RAM mount arrived quickly and is quite sturdy, the description did not indicate that it does NOT come with the electrical connector and thus cannot be used to recharge the GPS while in use -- essentially making it useless by itself. This deficiency should be clearly indicated in the product description.

AN EXCELLENT GPS MOUNTING DEVICE
Pros: flexible, sturdy
Cons: none
This mount is flexible where it counts but very sturdy when positioned in place. An Excellent device!! I would recommend this to anyone.
