Pros: simple system Cons: mounting and lack of instructions
A little misleading as I thought it would bolt to existing seat brackets. Quite simple to install other than drilling holes etc.

AWESOME MOUNT
Pros: quick and easy to load/unload Cons: will not fit in cradle in leather cover
All in all I love the mount. I wish the actual piece that holds the IPad was a little thicker so I did not have to take the Ipad out of it's case to fit in the mount. Other than that it's great! By the way, gpscity.com was awesome and shipped my mount fast! :)

GOOD SOLID IPAD MOUNT
Pros: perfect. Cons: shake little and no inner soft surface.
shakes quite a bit, spring attachment is very tight , takes a little effort to open the springs. Would be nice to have an adapter for the Tab-Tite 3 to hold another X-Grip.

RAM MOUNT IN 2010 F150
Pros: easy install, great quality, very functional. Cons: lite wobble when driving
Works great, slight wobble when driving but nothing I am going to worry about at the moment. The mount holds my iPad in the Griffin Survivor case with no issues.

RAM IPAD2 VEHICLE MOUNT
Pros: reasonably priced easy to install Cons: slight amount of shake on uneven roads
Loved it. You haven't used any GPS until you've used the iPad Navigon (Garmin) app on an iPad with this mount. An almost 10" GPS. Wow!

ALMOST PERFECT
Pros: a mount that was 95% thought-through Cons: need additional bracing
After one month of daily usage, I am secure in my purchase. Other than the aluminum rod, everything is plastic, and is holding up well. The only compliant is the stability of the device due to the cars motion. This pitches the device every which way, so there is a need to stabilize the rod higher up, closer to the device mount. In my Prius I am able to wedge a MagLite (flashlight) in this area anyway, so it is working well to stabilize. However, it would be nice if the seller would include a U- brace or something to address this issue. Not a deal breaker but prevents me from wholeheartedly endorsing.

TAB TITE ON 05 INFINITI G35
Pros: used all existing hardware Cons: shakes with the slightest bumps.
Mounted as instructed and very snug under the seat bracket. The ipad shakes quite a bit but will do for what i need it for. I've read other reviews where i can strap the gooseneck to make it more sturdy, but as i mentioned, it works for me as is.
The spring attachment is very tight, and holds the ipad well. I wish there was a handle of some sort to open the spring to put in the ipad. The video from Ram Mount looks easy, but it takes a little effort to open the springs.

RAM MOUNT FOR IPAD 2
Pros: good built, easy installation Cons: none
Easy to install. Exactly what I expected according to the specs and what I had read about it online. The only problem that I have, which is not the fault of the Mount itself in my opinion, is that the car I want to used it in, VW Tiguan, does not have a seat bolt that can un-screwed easily. I am still trying to figure out how to solve this problem. The mount itself is great though. It holds the iPad perfectly and I didn't even experience the wobbling which other people reported. Even with a semi-loose mount, not securely attached to the passenger seat, I was able to fix the iPad in place and use the GPS.

SOLID IPAD MOUNT
Pros: ease to assemble and mount unlimited positioning. Cons: vibration on dirt/rough roads.
Easy to assemble and mount in vehicle. Took 15-20 minutes to assemble from the package and a further 5 minutes to install in the vehicle. Installed in Discovery 4 using an existing bolt in passenger seat mount. Flexible mount allows unlimited positioning ensuring access to radio, temperature, etc controls. The iPad mount (tabs) holds the iPad securely, though it is easier with another person holding the tabs apart when mounting/removing the iPad.

GOOD IPAD MOUNT
Pros: very configurable Cons: ipad holder is plastic and a bit flimsy
I've had this installed for about a month now. Overall, it's a fairly sturdy and flexible mount, although I'm not sure of it's longevity given the mount itself is plastic and the spring loaded 'Tab'. It takes a bit of effort to pull the tab out far enough to put the iPad in and it just seems to be a bit flimsy. Metal would have been a better alternative, but we'll see. That said, I'm still pretty happy with the unit so far and it was the only one I found that seemed to work for my car.

IPAD2 TAB-TITE-3
Pros: as above Cons: as above
First RAM Mount purchased. Installed in 2009 Outback, as per instructions. Plenty of foot room for passenger/ Stable enough for normal operation by driver or passenger. Out of way of cup-holders, shifter and radio/heater controls. Holds iPad2 with the magnetic cover or without. All plugs accessible when installed. Would be nice to have an adapter for the Tab-Tite 3 to hold iPhone. (Holder in holder)

BEST I COULD FIND.
Pros: perfect for my ipad as a navigation and media cent Cons: bit wobbly
This is the best affordable iPad mount available now. Anything that costs less than this sucks, anything thT costs more is out of my budget. It doe shake a bit but not because it is not sturdy but because it's mounted to a shaky car. I found resting a part of the arm on the passenger chair stabilizes it.

IPAD IPAD 2 VEHICLE MOUNT RAM-B-316-1-TAB3U
Pros: does not mount on windshield. Cons: may be a little too much screen vibration for some
After looking for almost a year, I finally found the mount I was looking for. I didn't want any mount that was a suction cup on the windshield for my ipad. The ipad is too large for my car's windshield (Ford Fiesta), and I didn't want to risk it falling and landing on the screen. This mount is the best so far, that fits my needs. It requires some assembly, but nothing too difficult. It will require tools as well. Initially to put the mount itself together, and then so that you can remove and reinstall the one bolt on the seat rail. The average person should be able to accomplish this within the hour. The only area I can see anyone having a real problem in, is the positioning of the pole. Ladies, you may want to ask a male friend to help on this part. Although there is some shaking of the screen while driving, it isn't so much that I can't still use my nav app. In a pothole ridden city, you may have some difficultly reading your screen if you're using a nav app as well. The only fix I see for this is to run another bracket from higher up on the pole to the side of your console. But that would probably require making a hole that most likely can't be hidden, and I'm not about to put any holes in my car. This device is more than satisfactory, the way it was shipped to me, for my needs.
