| RAM Mount TDS Nomad PDA Tri-Pod Mount with Belt Clip Description |
The RAM-B-149ZBC-TD3 TDS Nomad PDA RAM Mount is a Marine Grade Aluminum TriPod Rail Mount with Quick Clip. It consists of the 1 inch diameter ball and socket system with RAM Mount Plastic Cradle for the TDS Nomad PDA Series. Included with this mount is a Quick Clip Connector. Between the mount and the cradle is a belt clip attachment, allowing you to quickly move the TDS Nomad from the Tri-Pod Mount to your belt clip (included).
TDS Nomad PDA Mount Cradle Design:
The RAM-HOL-TD3 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Cradle is designed to hold the following TDS PDA units,
The back of the cradle is connected to a round plate with ball. The ball gives the cradle the ability to connect to the RAM arm on this mount and also creates a ball and socket joint allowing you to move the cradle into many different viewing locations. All cables can stay connected to the TDS Nomad while in the RAM cradle.
TDS Nomad PDA Mount Arm Design:
 The RAM-B-201 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Dual Socket Arm is a 1 inch B size Ball Socket Arm with open socket ends. The arm is 3.0 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends. TDS Nomad PDA Mount Base Design:
 The RAM-B-231Z RAM Mount Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Rail Base has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball designed to sit at right angles to the mounting rail. The Zinc Coated metal U-Bolt and nuts included are designed it fit on most motorcycle round handlebars, or any circular rail or pipe with diameter from 3/4 to 1.0 inch.
To mount the rail base, place the top of the base on the rail and then slide the u-bolt around the rail, into the holes in the base top. Now tighten the screws onto the u-bolt until the base is clamped firmly. If you desire, you can now slot the black rubber covers over the exposed ends of the u-bolt.
Note: If you are looking to use this mount in the elements, we suggest the RAM-B-231 Stainless Steel U-Bolt Mount.
