Manufacturer Description |
The RAM-B-149-TO1 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Stainless Steel U-Bolt Rail Base Mount consists of the 1 inch diameter ball and socket system with RAM Aluminum Cradle Holder for the TomTom GO, GO Plus, GO 300 and GO 700 Series. For a list of available mounts that include the RAM-B-202-TO1 cradle, check out the complete list of TomTom GO, GO Plus, GO 300 and GO 700 GPS Mounts
The TomTom GO 510, GO 710 and GO 910 GPS WILL NOT fit this cradle. These units require the RAM Mount Stainless Steel U-Bolt Rail Base Mount for the TomTom GO x10 Series (RAM-B-149-TO3).
TomTom GPS Mount Cradle Design:
 The RAM-B-202-TO1 RAM Mount Aluminum TomTom GO 300 and 700 Series Cradle Holder connects to the existing TomTom cradle included with the following TomTom units:
- TomTom GO
- TomTom GO Plus
- TomTom GO 300
- TomTom GO 700
All cables can stay connected to the unit while in the RAM cradle.
The TomTom GO 510, GO 710 and GO 910 GPS WILL NOT fit this cradle. These units require the RAM-HOL-TO3 RAM Mount Plastic Cradle for the TomTom GO 510, GO 710 and GO 910 Series.
TomTom GPS Mount Arm Design:
 The RAM-B-201 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Dual Socket Arm is a 1 inch B size Ball Socket Arm with open socket ends. The arm is 3.0 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends. For a layout of the dimensions RAM-B-201 arm, take a closer look with the RAM-B-201 Design Drawings (pdf file).
TomTom GPS Mount Base Design:
 The RAM-B-231 RAM Mount Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Rail Base has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball designed to sit at right angles to the mounting rail. The Stainless Steel U-Bolt and nuts included are designed it fit on most motorcycle round handlebars, or any circular rail or pipe with diameter from 3/4 to 1.0 inch.
To mount the rail base, place the top of the base on the rail and then slide the u-bolt around the rail, into the holes in the base top. Now tighten the screws onto the u-bolt until the base is clamped firmly. If you desire, you can now slot the black rubber covers over the exposed ends of the u-bolt.
NOTE: This base is completely rust proof.
For Larger Rail Mounting:
For a larger rail, you can purchase the RAM Mount Stainless Steel Large Rail U-Bolt for circular rails with diameter up to 1.25 inches.
