GPS MOUNT, BETTER THAN OEM
Pros: strength
the Ram mount is far superior to the OEM mount that came with the Tom Tom Go700.Stronger and more versatile.

EXCELLENT GPS MOUNT
Pros: ease of use
Cons: released once from windshield
This is just what I needed for my recent trip with my GO300. It worked just as hoped for in my rental car.

BUILT LIKE A TANK
Pros: built like a tank
Cons: minor issues fitting the old base into the mount
This is one serious suction mount. All aluminum construction, well made, and sticks to my windshield even over horrible dirt roads. It is very long, which is fine for newer cars with the highly sloped windshields, but for older card (like my '83 Mercedes), the GPS unit will actually hang out beyond the dashboard. My only complaint was that the base, which you have to swap over from the original Tom Tom mount, did not quite fit into the RAM mount, so a little Dremmel work was necessary to get the whole thing assembled.
[Ed. note: We agree Dave! We always tell everyone that these mounts really suck!!]

WHIS I COULD OF...
Pros: suction cup & manuverabillity
Cons: no cradle
Unfortuately I was not able to use the mount. I would have to reuse the lower portion (cradle?) from my orininal mount but that is the piece that was broken. I did check out the replacement mount & feel that the suction cup is a lot stronger & I liked the way you can move & position the mount. I wish that piece on mine was not broken because I think that this replacement mount is better that the original. Also, when I called to explain my situation, Express Mounts could not have had better Customer Service & I would not hesitate to recommend or use them again.

MUCH BETTER THAN TOMTOM'S FACTORY MOUNT.
Pros: great build quality, excellent suction
Cons: if anything, better paperwork for assembly
I bought the RAM mount for my TomTom Go 700 and it fits like a glove. I'm not sure what the other reviewer was talking about, unless he didn't read where it says this mount is only for the 300, 500, and 700 Go's. Also, you must use the docking piece that comes with the original mount (the piece your power cord and microphone plugs into. This is all stated in the product description.
Anyway, this is my third mount for my 700 and I wish I would have known about the RAM mount a long time ago. The build quality is very solid and I can't imagine this mount breaking like my last two factory mounts. The problem with the factory mounts was where the suction cup attached to the mount, it was held on by a little plastic piece with a surface area about the size of a dime. That's a very small area for an area that has a lot of pressure on it and sure enough, the plastic piece broke on both of my mounts after a couple of months use.
The RAM mount is made of aluminum for the most part, except for the plastic suction cup holder, however, there is a much larger surface area on this suction cup assembly which I can't imagine will break very easily. I really can't forsee ever having to buy another mount because of damage.
I'm very pleased with this purchase, unlike the POS factory mount I bought for the same price the last time my mount broke.
Worth every penny.

TOM TOM GO MOUNT
This product did not fit the tom tom go and rather sending it back, I used the suction part of it to fit my old mount. It required some fabrication on my part.
