Manufacturer Description |
The RAM-B-166-TO1 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Mount with 3.25" Locking Suction Base consists of the 1 inch diameter ball and socket system with RAM Aluminum Cradle Holder for the TomTom GO, GO Plus, GO 300 and GO 700 Series. For a list of available mounts that include the RAM-B-202-TO1 cradle, check out the complete list of TomTom GO, GO Plus, GO 300 and GO 700 GPS Mounts
The TomTom GO 510, GO 710 and GO 910 GPS WILL NOT fit this cradle. These units require the RAM Mount Locking Suction Cup Mount for the TomTom GO x10 Series (RAM-B-166-TO3).
Mount Cradle Design:
 The RAM-B-202-TO1 RAM Mount Aluminum TomTom GO 300 and 700 Series Cradle Holder connects to the existing TomTom cradle included with the following TomTom units:
- TomTom GO
- TomTom GO Plus
- TomTom GO 300
- TomTom GO 700
All cables can stay connected to the unit while in the RAM cradle.
The TomTom GO 510, GO 710 and GO 910 GPS WILL NOT fit this cradle. These units require the RAM-HOL-TO3 RAM Mount Plastic Cradle for the TomTom GO 510, GO 710 and GO 910 Series.
Mount Arm Design:
 The RAM-B-201 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Dual Socket Arm is a 1 inch B size Ball Socket Arm with open socket ends. The arm is 3.0 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends. For a layout of the dimensions RAM-B-201 arm, take a closer look with the RAM-B-201 Design Drawings (pdf file).
Mount Base Design:
 The RAM-B-224-1 RAM Mount Plastic Locking 3.25 inch diameter Rubber Suction Cup Base, with Marine Grade Aluminum Diamond Plate, is designed to have an extra strong hold on any smooth non-porous surface. With a twist on the locking knob, the suction cup base adheres to any glass¹ or non-porous plastic surface, as found on our Non Skid Base with Plastic Disk and Plastic Adhesive Disk.
Connected to the top of the Suction Cup is a RAM-B-238 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Diamond Plate with 1 inch diameter Rubber Ball. This plate allows the suction cup to join to an open socket found on the RAM 1 inch diameter socket arms.

Suction Cup Base Mounting Options:We currently offer three alternative solutions for mounting your suction cup mount in a location other than a windshield:
- The Super Grip Non Skid Base with round plastic plate, is a weighted base that can be placed on your dash without an adhesive or drilling. Simply place the base on your dash, or any flat surface and then attach the suction cup to the round plastic plate. This is perfect when you want a temporary mounting solution but the windshield mount just isn't the answer.
- The Suction Cup Adhesive Disk with round plastic plate, is a great mounting surface to attach the RAM Twist Lock Suction Cup. Simply stick the the plate to any flat surface and then attach the suction cup to the plate. This is perfect when you need to attach your suction cup mount to your car dash vertically or horizontally, rather than to your windshield.
- The Suction Cup Drink Cup Holder with round plastic plate, is a great mounting surface to attach the RAM Twist Lock Suction Cup. Simply place the base into any cup holder in your vehicle and then attach the suction cup to the plate found on top. This is perfect when you need to attach your suction cup mount away from the windshield or when you just want the mount off the dash.
