| RAM Mount TomTom GO 510 710 910 Stainless Steel U-Bolt Mount Description |
The RAM-B-149-TO3 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Stainless Steel U-Bolt Rail Base Mount consists of the 1 inch diameter ball and socket system with RAM Plastic Cradle for the TomTom GO 510, GO 710 and GO 910.
The TomTom GO, GO Plus, GO 300 and GO 700 GPS WILL NOT fit this cradle. These units require the RAM Mount Stainless Steel U-Bolt Rail Base Mount for the TomTom GO (RAM-B-149-TO1).
TomTom GPS Mount Cradle Design:
The RAM-HOL-TO3 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Cradle is designed to hold the following TomTom GPS units,
- TomTom GO 510
- TomTom GO 710
- TomTom GO 910
The back of the cradle is connected to a diamond plate with ball. The ball gives the cradle the ability to connect to the RAM arm on this mount and also creates a ball and socket joint allowing you to move the cradle into many different viewing locations. All cables can stay connected to the unit while in the RAM cradle.
The TomTom GO, GO Plus, GO 300 and GO 500 GPS WILL NOT fit this cradle. These units require the RAM-HOL-TO1 RAM Mount Cradle Connector for the TomTom GO, GO Plus, GO 300 and GO 500 GPS Series.
TomTom GPS Mount Arm Design:
 The RAM-B-201 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Dual Socket Arm is a 1 inch B size Ball Socket Arm with open socket ends. The arm is 3.0 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends. TomTom GPS Mount Base Design:
 The RAM-B-231 RAM Mount Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Rail Base has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball designed to sit at right angles to the mounting rail. The Stainless Steel U-Bolt and nuts included are designed it fit on most motorcycle round handlebars, or any circular rail or pipe with diameter from 3/4 to 1.0 inch.
To mount the rail base, place the top of the base on the rail and then slide the u-bolt around the rail, into the holes in the base top. Now tighten the screws onto the u-bolt until the base is clamped firmly. If you desire, you can now slot the black rubber covers over the exposed ends of the u-bolt.
NOTE: This base is completely rust proof.
For Larger Rail Mounting:
For a larger rail, you can purchase the RAM Mount Stainless Steel Large Rail U-Bolt for circular rails with diameter up to 1.25 inches.
