The RAM-101-235-234-3 Universal Tough Tray Rail RAM Mount is a Marine Grade Aluminum Mount with a Dual Stainless Steel U-Bolt Rail Base and Universal Laptop Tray. The heavy duty mount is designed with a RAM 1.5 inch diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment point at the cradle and base. With a twist of the arm knob, you can move the Tough Tray Series mount to your optimum viewing position. The 1.5 inch ball size is designed to hold a 5 to 10 lb. (approximate) weighted device.

Tough Tray Mount Cradle Design:
Tough Tray Mount Cradle Plate: The RAM-202 Marine Grade Aluminum Round Plate is designed to connected to the back of the mount cradle with a AMPS hole pattern. The round plate has a 1.5 inch diameter rubber ball connected at right angles to the plate, which connects directly to the 1.5 inch arm socket. The cradle includes the required hardware to connect the plate to the cradle. Tough Tray Mount Arm Design:
 The RAM-201 RAM Mount Dual Socket Arm is a 1.5 inch C size Ball Socket Arm made of Marine Grade Aluminum. The arm is 4.63 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends. For a layout of the dimensions RAM-201 arm, take a closer look with the RAM-201 Design Drawings (pdf file).
Tough Tray Mount Base Design: The RAM-235 Dual Stainless Steel U-Bolt Pipe Mounting Base is designed to fit a 1/2 inch to 1 1/4 inch diameter round pipe. The base is constructed of Marine Grade Aluminum with a Black powder Coating and has a 1.5 inch diameter Rubber Ball. For extra holding power, the base connects to the pipe with two stainless steel u-bolts.
