The RAM-B-316-1-234-6 Universal Tough Tray II Series Flex Rod Vehicle Floor RAM-POD-I Mount is a Marine Grade Aluminum and Plastic Composite Mount with a RAM Universal Small Laptop and Tablet Cradle. The mount is designed with a RAM 1 inch diameter RAM ball and socket system on a 18 inch long Aluminum Rigid Flex Rod. With a twist of the arm knob, you can move the top of Universal Tough Tray II Series mount to your optimum viewing position.

Note: This mount does not require any drilling for installation.

Netbook/Laptop Mount Tough Tray II Cradle Design:


The RAM-234-6 universal netbook laptop and tablet Tough Tray II cradle is designed to hold a large amount of different kinds of netbooks, small laptops, tablets, Apple iPad, DVD players and other similarly shaped devices. The RAM Tough Tray II is a spring loaded expandable tray which includes four (4) flat side clamping retaining arms and four (4) standard retaining arms. These arms can be moved both vertically and horizontally. This allows for a custom fit for varying thicknesses of electronic devices and the freedom of not blocking ports or drives.

  • Tray Thickness: 1.0 inch
  • Tray Width (Expansion): 8.56 to 12.31 inches
  • Side Clamp Arm Height: 2.75 inches (max)

Netbook/Laptop Mount Tough Tray II Cradle Plate:


The RAM-B-202 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Round Plate is designed to connected to the back of cradles with an AMPS hole pattern. The round plate has a 1.0 inch diameter rubber ball connected at right angles to the plate, which connects directly to the 1 inch arm socket. The cradle includes the required hardware to connect the plate to the cradle. Netbook/Laptop Mount Tough Tray II Arm Design:

The RAP-B-200-1 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Single Socket Short Arm has a B Size 1 inch Ball Socket at one end, and a Female Octagon button connection at the other. The Octagon Button end will mount on the end of the Aluminum Flex Rod, allowing the 1 inch socket to hold your device cradle or plate. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket end.

Netbook/Laptop Mount Tough Tray II Base Design:

The RAM-316-1A RAM Mount Rigid Arm Base consists of a RAM octagon at the end of a 18 inch rigid flex arm with seat rail base. The RAM-POD-I mounting foot plate base is designed to connect to a vehicle seat rail bolt in your Car, Truck, SUV, RV, Big Rig or bolted location. Connected at right angles to the mounting foot is an 18 inch long Aluminum Flexible Rod. This rod can hold light to medium weight items in your vehicle safely and securely. At the top of the rigid flex rod is a male RAM High Strength Plastic Octagon Button that will connect directly to a RAM Female Octagon Button Arm.

Movement of the Rigid 18 inch Flex Arm:

It is important to note that the rigid 18 inch flex arm found on this mount is designed to hold an approximate weight of up to 4 lbs. With this in mind, the aluminum rod is more rigid than flexible. It is designed to be bent into position when being installed and then hold it's position. This means you cannot move the mount around once installed with just one hand.
